Snoring

I was told that I Snore too much while sleeping. How can i stop snoring while sleeping?

Though I cannot confirm this situation since i cannot hear myself while sleeping, but i believe it becouse my father use to snore very well and my brothers do too. How can i stop snoring with or without medication.I need help.
